This fun and engaging Game is huge with lots of general knowledge questions including sport, music, math, movies and pop culture. The games shuffle ability assures that no two games are ever the same which means you can use the same resource in a lot more than once. Also ideal for a regular class to bond with your class, build class relationships or just waste a tough afternoon. It has a range of questions from easy to hard to include everyone. I typically put the class into small groups and ask a member of the group to choose a color and number. That is the question that they have to answer. If correct they get one point. Then I move to the next group. Alternatively the whole class answers and then we tally up the points to get a winner. I run it on an interactive whiteboard but would be equally successful on a projector, computer or TV screen. Alternatively it could be run for an individual student on their own device. When you start the game press the shuffle button to randomize the questions ensuring that no game is ever the same. This means that this Jeopardy game can be used multiple times with the one class as it is different every time. This is a PowerPoint Macro Show. To run the game double click the file and make sure you say "yes" to running macros. If you do not the questions will not shuffle correctly. I have tested on a PC but it should work on other devices. This colourful Growth Vs Fixed Mindset Wall Display will encourage a growth mindset in your classroom. They make a perfect reference tool all year round and great when setting up your classroom. The wall display comes in two sizes. A4 and A3. That is the brain is either A4 or A3 size depending on how much wall space you have. This is the students passport for their adventure and the student/teacher contract for a safe and fun filled time. Instructions are given on how to make this effective passport. Setting up your class rules or treaty at the start of the year is important for any class. These meeting houses make a perfect template to create a display for your class. I typically have a discussion with the students to talk about what rules they would like. The students then write them onto to the templates to make a colourful display on the wall. Included in this pack are colourfully designed Te Reo commands.There are two commands per A4 page. Each command has the words in both English and Maori with a picture or diagram to illustrate it to students. I have included a title for your wall display so all you need to do is simply print, cut and laminate for durability. They are the perfect reminders for both teacher and student This is an excellent resource to use all year long and in particular for Maori Language Week. This resource contains 2 multiplication mosaics, “The Power of Yet” and “Growth Mindset”.I find they compliment each other extremely well and provide a fun, engaging and creative way for your students to learn their timetables. I have included 2 versions of each, one with a title on it and one without. Just choose which version is best for your class and print them off. They are all ready to go. The student just needs pencils, felts, etc to color it in. If I have a struggling student that does not know their timetables yet, I hand out a timetable chart to them so that they can complete it, or make sure they can see a copy of it on the wall.

Everyone has an opinion. Help your students develop theirs with these Would You Rather cards. I have have included a recording sheet so that it encourages students to think about both sides to an argument, write which side they believe in, and share it with others. I have used them, both, as a class activity and for early finishers. The students simply choose a card and grab a pre-printed recording sheet and off they go. It makes the perfect addition to your Daily 5 work, and reading and writing centers. There are 40 cards to choose from. I simply print them off, laminate, and cut them to size. I have also included 2 versions of the task cards to choose from. First being an ink heavy version and the second a version that is more printer friendly.

These Reading Logs are perfect for your homework packet. In these reading logs, students can log their nightly reading and include a reflection for each day to show understanding and retell. A space is included for parent signatures and either 20 or 30 minute versions are included. After requests, I have also included a parent, a teacher and a parent and teacher comment section for the weekly reading.
